Academic-led ♦ Open Journals

There are now an increasing number of reputable journals that are academic-led and diamond open access (free to publish and free to read; see for more info here). This is an exciting development in scholarly publishing that can lead to healthy competition if not ultimate replacement of for-profit business models that are not equitable and hurt scientific quality.
